Course Objectives
Teamwork Plus! provides the Adizes
conceptual foundation which leads to personal growth and dramatic improvement
in organizational teamwork. This course will help you to discover what
real teamwork is by seeing and understanding certain behavioural patterns
in people and in organizations -- why they exist and what to do about
them. Realistic views are provided which opens a whole new perspective
on people and management. You will learn real solutions that can be applied
today to real problems.
The Teamwork Plus! course presents seven insights into why people and
organizations flourish.

This course will explain each insight using fundamental Adizes concepts
- concepts that can help transform you and your organization. By the end
of this series, you will have a new framework for understanding and action.
Course Organization
This course is organized into six 2-3 hour modules:
1. Introduction to the Adizes methodology
2. Understanding management styles and complementary teams
3. Nine keys to management
4. Understanding Corporate Lifecycles
5. Understanding decision making
6. Effective Corporate Structuring
For each module, you will find online readings and course discussions
with other students and instructors.
Timetable
You can begin anytime after the start date and
you should allow at least 15 hours to complete the course. The amount
of course time will depend on how much you participate in the course discussions.
You may take the course at anytime of the day, from anywhere. Each module
in the course must be taken in sequence.
